In 1985, Control Products introduced the first digital temperature indicator to the food service equipment industry. The TI-100 features an LED display and provides resolution of one tenth degree Fahrenheit. The TI-100 digital indicator quickly replaced mechanical remote bulb temperature indicators as the industry standard. Its performance was more accurate, higher quality and enhanced the overall appearance of OEM equipment. In 1986, Control Products expanded its electronic refrigeration control line by introducing the TI-300SP, the world's first solar powered temperature indicator and the TAI-200, a digital refrigeration temperature alarm with adjustable temperature setpoints and an LED temperature display.

Over the years, the Control Products digital refrigeration indicator and refrigeration alarm product lines have expanded to the current offering of over 100 standard control models. Today, Control Products is the market leader in both standard and custom digital refrigeration controls. The product line includes on/off controls, PID controls, indicators, alarms and more complex control designs which incorporate a variety of communication technologies, both wired and wireless.

Basic Refrigeration Temperature Alarms

The TS-04 Temperature Siren is a basic refrigeration alarm with an audible siren. Control Products' basic TAI-110 or TAI-2000 refrigeration alarm product families feature an LED temperature display, adjustable high and low temperature setpoints and audible alarm output. The TAI-110 and TAI-2000 product families differ in package styling and are ideal for refrigeration coolers, freezers and cases. Power options include 12 or 24 VAC or VDC. With the use of a step-down transformer, also available from Control Products, they can be powered using 240 VAC or 120 VAC.

Intermediate Refrigeration Temperature Alarms

The TAL-100 and TAL-200 family of refrigeration alarms expand the feature set of the basic models to include data logging of the highest and lowest recorded temperatures over an extended run time. Temperature alarms also feature a remote alarm output, and the capability of being connected to one of Control Products' automatic alarm dialers. The ability to connect to a dialer offers the benefit of remote temperature monitoring. Contact us to learn more about our refrigeration alarms.

Advanced Refrigeration Temperature Alarms

Control Products is the market leader in refrigeration alarms with automatic dial out capability. In addition to a broad line of low cost standard off-the-shelf models, Control Products designs and manufactures custom refrigeration temperature alarm dialers per our customer's specification.

The TA-900 standard TempAlarm refrigeration alarm monitors temperature, and upon alarm, automatically dials out over a standard phone line to three pre-programmed phone numbers and transmits a user programmed voice message. In addition, it sounds a local siren. The TA-900 TempAlarm can also be called remotely from any phone for re-programming or confirmation of power and equipment status. The TA-900 TempAlarm is low cost, installs in seconds and does not require a dedicated phone line or monthly monitoring fees.

TA-1000 TempAlarm refrigeration alarms expand the features of the TA-900 model to include wireless temperature sensors. Wireless temperature sensors allow for remote monitoring of up to ten remote temperature points.

TM-100 Cellcomm refrigeration alarm features cell phone technology, making it ideal for applications that don't have access to a standard phone line. Upon sensing an alarm condition, the TM-100 Cellcomm automatically transmits both a text message and email message to an unlimited number of locations. The TM-100 Cellcomm can also run for up to 24 hours without an external power source. The TM-100 is ideal for monitoring temperature in remote locations.

Applications for our refrigeration temperature alarms include refrigeration cabinets, cases, transport refrigeration, supermarkets, restaurant equipment monitoring, walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, vineyards, orchard temperature monitoring, etc. Contact us for a quote on TempAlarm temperature alarms.
