Asian Electronics Manufacturing CapabilitiesOur three manufacturing plants allow us to service a broad range of customer needs from high volume, low automated runs, to low volume runs with manual assembly and box build. Our China electronic manufacturing facility is wholly owned by Control Products, offering our customers the benefit of a direct partner in Asia. US and China Manufacturing PlantsChanhassen, Minnesota Manufacturing Plant: The Chanhassen manufacturing plant was built in 1994. This plant is highly automated and is designed to produce product for customers with annual production volumes of 1000 to 10,000 boards. In addition to several SMT production lines, the Chanhassen plant features automated through-hole capability, automated conformal coating and a wide variety of circuit board testing capabilities. We also offer our customers RoHS compliant manufacturing processes. Le Sueur, Minnesota Manufacturing Plant: The Le Sueur manufacturing plant is equipped for labor intensive operations, including the building of wire assemblies, box-build assemblies, and semi-automated potting capabilities. Suzhou, China Manufacturing Plant: Our Suzhou, China manufacturing plant (take a tour) was built in 2006 and is equipped with the latest in fully automated SMT equipment. The Suzhou plant is ideal for customers that require annual production runs of 10,000 boards or greater. The labor efficiencies of our Suzhou, China plant often represent measureable savings for our customers, compared to production rates in the US or Europe.
